I began my career in construction in the 1990s, working with a small family-run building company. During this time, I gained my initial experience operating machinery and achieved my first certification as a JCB 180 wheeled excavator operator.

Over the years, I have contributed to a wide range of projects, including residential developments, infrastructure, civil engineering works, and quarry operations. Throughout my career, I have continued to expand my skill set by obtaining additional plant operation certifications, as well as an HGV licence.

Outside of work, I have been with my partner for nearly 20 years, and we have two children together. In my spare time, I enjoy fishing, which remains a personal passion.
