Construction Training Services is a family business built on reliability and honesty.
Our foundations are deeply rooted in the civils, plant hire and utility sectors. This has enabled our training business to have a leading edge in delivering sector skills within the cultural understanding of the workforce the industry depends upon.
Operations Director Nigel Carr established Construction Training Services (CTS) in 2014 after coming off the tools in 2005 and becoming a CPCS & SMSTS instructor working with CITB.
Office Manager Kirsty Carr joined the company in 2016 and Managing Director Daniel Carr in 2017.
CTS has now grown to a team of 7 including instructors James Songer and Justin Algar, Training Coordinator Abi Leathers and project & Funding manager Emma Bailey.
CTS acquired an 4.5-acre training site just outside Needham Market in 2023 and is now in the fortunate position of offering both on and off-site training.
The site is in a phased development with next steps involving building further practical training sites plus and a permanent building to house all business functions.
CTS currently offers over 100 courses but watch this space as we grow to meet the needs of our customers.
Our business is built on a customer first approach, and we will always go over and above to help. In addition to delivering training courses, we can support your business with other services such as managing your training schedules; making sure you never have a last-minute panic renewal. Working with customers this way means we are more than a training provider but an integral part of your business.
At CTS, we believe it is important that any future workforce moves forward with the relevant skills, confidence & ability to not only carry on delivering existing projects, but to improve upon them.
